Showing off my awesome new barefoot shoes for my daily commute.

Finally loaded to Flickr some beautiful photos we took on Mt. Tabor last month, plus a few from Easter Sunday. Enjoy!
We ventured to the new Sellwood venue The Woods to see Jeffrey Foucault play tonight. Bit disappointed by the unannounced opener and the late start time, but Jeffrey was as always fantastic. We didn’t stay for much of Anais Mitchells set, but she seemed an interesting performer.

A neighbor of ours, apparently a little more excited about the health care reform than I am*. Still, I kind of loved the exuberance. When was the last time people were this joyous about anything (other than war) the government did?
*I am still pissed about the dropped single payor option. I plan to be pissed about it until we get it. Which at this rate will probably be around the time I age into Medicare, and get it anyway.

The view from Vista House, looking east along the Columbia River.

Ah, the kitchen before brunch. Lovely chaos.

Port and chocolate tasting for dessert… Don’t you wish you had dinner around our house more often?

I find this a little creepy…

Tea plays with a hands on art piece at our friend Virginia Flynn's art
show at 23Sandy Gallery. (map art not by Gin, but there were so many
people admiring her art I couldn't get a good shot! You'll just have
to go yourself).

Mt. Hood from my building, and behind it (you'll have to trust me on
this one) more snowy mountains… Rainier? It's a lovely day and I
get to go out and enjoy it in 3…2….
