Siempre hay que dar un beso como si fuera…

I wanted to find a photo of the Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires´ beautiful old theater, where Matt and I saw Mussorgsky’s opera “Boris Godunov” last night, but apparently the search function on flickr has adult content, and so I am unable to locate one from this internet kiosk. However, scrolling through the Buenos Aires group I found a photo of the signage for a restaurant we ate in on Friday! This is in our neighborhood, and it has a beautiful back courtyard with a rose trellis covering the sky. Our waitress was American, from Baltimore, and the food was as lovely as the atmosphere.

Just a few days left here. I have spent most of my time just wandering streets, shopping at craft fairs (DIY is as happening here as it is back home), and reading. I´ll update the book list to the right as soon as I get home — arboreality.org is also adult content according to the internets down here, and I can´t touch it!

Love you all,

Hello from Buenos Aires. While I cannot load my own photos I can share with you Flickr photos from the same place… today we visited a cemetary full of statues and creepy buildings. Evita is buried there (I did not bother wish a picture of that building).

The flight here went easily, and we arrived tired but ready around noon on Monday. Our apartment is cute, although tiny. The food here is definetly worth the trip. The city itself is loud and crowded and dirty, full of cabs and feral cats. I am looking forward already to heading to the beach for a few days, but first, to find a spa and a massage!
