Mike and I found this guy while wandering around Volunteer Park on Saturday. Apparently, he designed the water pressure tower thingy at the reservoir there. The red lips really help his overall appearance, I think... he should have tried it while living.

Its the body of my first sweater! i think it might actually be on its yay to being wearable, even... and you can hardly see the mistake i made early on.

I walked home in the daylight today, and it was ever so much nicer than the rain... hurry up, spring!

My eye hurts. the doctor thinks it might be scratched, so i have another appointment tomorrow. whee!
UPDATE: So I went to the specialist today and it's some sort of crazy immune system gone terribly wrong thing... my immune system is attacking my eye!! so I have to take steroids (??) and also antibiotics (we know how well I responded to those last time...) til it gets better. and worst of all: NO CONTACTS FOR THREE WEEKS. :( :( :( Tragedy.

I went with Laura and John and Richard to see Climber at the Crocodile Cafe.. I liked them even better than the cd. Yay, live music!
