Coolest Project EVER
I am so going to volunteer... what an awesome project!

Mike and I found this guy while wandering around Volunteer Park on Saturday. Apparently, he designed the water pressure tower thingy at the reservoir there. The red lips really help his overall appearance, I think... he should have tried it while living.

Apparently heating the milk and the molasses at the same time is a bad idea. who knew?

I walked home in the daylight today, and it was ever so much nicer than the rain... hurry up, spring!

My eye hurts. the doctor thinks it might be scratched, so i have another appointment tomorrow. whee!
UPDATE: So I went to the specialist today and it's some sort of crazy immune system gone terribly wrong thing... my immune system is attacking my eye!! so I have to take steroids (??) and also antibiotics (we know how well I responded to those last time...) til it gets better. and worst of all: NO CONTACTS FOR THREE WEEKS. :( :( :( Tragedy.

Laura poses with her winnings from apples to apples... my first get together in my own tiny place, and no one got claustrophobic!

John and Laura's new kitten, super cute and selfassured. his sister Dactyl is similarly cute, but smaller.

gospel in the street, on Pike St. we saw two young punk rocker boys buy cds... i love it when cultures meet.

This was a small mistake that took forever to remedy... stupid directions. but i finished the planter, wheels and all.
